Happy New Year and welcome back to Pre-school, and a special welcome to our new family! I hope that you all had a lovely Christmas break and are looking forward to 2019.

I’d like to start by thanking all our members of staff for their hard work over last term. It was a particularly long half term and with all the Christmas excitement the children were pretty exhausted by the end of term and I’m sure the staff were very much in need of their Christmas holiday! All the Christmas surprises were wonderful so thank you to all the staff for all their creativity and patience in helping the
children make such lovely things. The Christmas play was fantastic, I’m sure we all loved seeing the children doing such a great job. It is a huge amount of work that goes into organising the children to do the Nativity play and sing all the songs, so a huge thank you to the staff for making all that possible. Thank you also to everyone for contributing to the food for the Christmas party in the last week of term, as well as
the mulled wine and mince pies for the Nativity play. Thank you also to Kate Bartlett for organising the Christmas cards, they looked brilliant and I’m sure enjoyed so much by all who received them over Christmas!

Thank you to everyone for doing their parent help sessions last term. I hope you all enjoyed the time to see Pre-school in action and get to know the staff and children better. Just a reminder to please let us know as soon as possible if you need to swap your session for any reason. Last term went really smoothly and that is such a help to the staff.

If you have any questions or issues about Pre-school that you’d like to discuss please do come and chat to me or anyone on Committee at any time. Most of us are around at drop offs and picks ups or contact me by e-mail. We’re always keen to hear any feedback or suggestions as we all work together to make the Pre-school a really happy and positive environment for our children.

Looking forward to seeing you all back at Pre-school on Monday.
Sarah
