Hello! I’m Emme’s mum and whilst I’m not at drop off very often, I hope to meet lots of you soon. Please do let me know if you would like to get involved in fundraising activities throughout the year. You can email me at fundraising@standrewspreschoolcaversham.onmicrosoft.com

Events: The first date for the diary is Sunday 30th September: our 50th Anniversary Family Fun Party, 2-4 pm at St Andrew’s Hall. Tickets will be available at Pre-school at the start of term – just £5 per family.

The theme of the event is The Tiger Who Came to Tea- a lovely book which is also celebrating its 50th Anniversary. The children are encouraged to come dressed up as a character from the book. We have a story teller who will be running an interactive retelling of the book, as well as lots of other fun activities for the children including face painting, rock decorating and a photo booth. We will also be holding a raffle and the staff will be delivering you books of tickets which we would really appreciate you selling.

Company fundraising: I would love to hear from anyone who works for a company which has a Match Funding Scheme (such as Vodafone, Thames Water or Microsoft), who would be willing to use this to boost funds raised at some of our events. Or, if you or your business is able to donate a raffle prize for one of the events, it would be appreciated!
Or perhaps you might choose to support us through your own sponsored efforts such as half marathons, bike rides and obstacle races.

Shop and raise funds: A really easy and effective way to support us is by choosing to shop through easyfundraising.org.uk. There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury’s – it doesn’t cost you a penny extra! It’s really simple, all you have to do is head to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk and sign up for free. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to our good cause for no
extra cost whatsoever!

Don’t forget to make use of the following schemes that provide us with cash back too:

  • Microscooters: use code 116825 www.micro-scooters.co.uk
  • Stickins labels: code 35624 www.stickins.co.uk
  • Yellow moon craft supplies: code STA47919 www.yellowmoon.org.uk
  • Pop up play village: let them know you are a St Andrew’s parent if you attend an event or book a party with them. www.popupplayvillage.co.uk
  • Bridges Estate Agent (The Preschool Sponsor): mention us if you or a friend sells your house through them! This is a really important one for us.
