It has been great to meet all of you over the past half term, we have a lovely group of families and children at the Pre-school! The children have all settled so well into Pre-school life and there is always such a happy buzz in the hall! A huge thank you goes to all the Pre- school staff for their hard work in settling in the children and ensuring smooth day to day running of the Pre-school, providing fantastic activities for all the children.

It was amazing to be able to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Pre-school at the start of term. A huge thank you again to Amy Fletcher and team – Judith, Kayleigh and Rachael, who worked so hard to plan the two fantastic events. The raffle raised over £600 which is brilliant! Thank you to everyone who bought and sold tickets and I hope all the winners enjoyed their prizes!

We have some more events coming up in November, hopefully before the busyness of Christmas sets in!

Thursday 1st November – Parents/carers social at the Caversham Rose – please do come along for a drink and get to know other parents/carers better and with no little people around we may even get to finish a conversation!
Saturday 17th November – Autumn Fair – come and support the joint event between St Andrew’s church and the Pre-school – look out for Emily’s posts on the Facebook group about volunteers needed for this event and please do help out if you can!
Monday 26th November – Bake sale and coffee morning after drop off. Come and enjoy a coffee and a chat with other parents/carers and buy some tasty cakes!

Thank you so much for all your support to the Pre-school, we hugely appreciate it! Parent help has run really smoothly for this half of term so thank you for your essential help with that. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing more of Pre-school life and getting to know the children and staff better through time doing Parent help.

If there are any issues, questions or suggestions about anything at Pre-school please always feel free to come and chat to me or any of the Committee. We’d be very happy to chat anytime or drop me an e-mail if that’s easier!

Looking forward to seeing you all after half term and hope you’ve had a lovely week off!
