A very warm welcome to you all! We are delighted that you’re all going to be at St Andrew’s Pre-School for this coming year. Once again, we have a mix of children returning for a second year, siblings of previous pupils and brand new families and we hope that your children are as excited as we are to be part of this new year!

Having said that, we all appreciate that the beginning of a new Pre-School year can be accompanied by lots of different emotions, and we’d like to reassure you that our excellent staff team are very experienced in helping settle everyone into Pre-School. It can be a big change for all our children and parents whether they are continuing or new, so if you have any questions please do approach any member of staff or Committee – we are all very friendly and more than happy to help in any way we can.

We’d like to thank the outgoing Committee for supporting the staff to deliver another outstanding Pre-School year. We start this year with a great new Committee who are all listed in this Newsletter, and we will introduce ourselves to you over the first week or so of Pre-School. A couple of the Committee members are staying on for their second year, but others are just starting – so please bear with us as we learn the ropes! As you know, the Pre-School is a charity, which relies heavily on volunteers. We are always delighted to hear from anyone interested in getting involved in any way, and a big thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to do something in the coming year. Please do let us know if you’d like to get involved in any of our activities.

There will be a variety of events coming up this term that are fantastic ways to get to know each other better as well as supporting the Pre-School with fundraising, so please do come along!

Please do feel free to chat to anyone on Committee anytime at Pre-School – in person at drop off or pick up, or via email. We’re always keen to hear any feedback or suggestions you might have, or happy to try and answer questions. Anonymous feedback can be left in the suggestions box in the front hall.

We’re really looking forward to meeting all of you at the start of term and getting to know you as the term goes on. We hope it will be a great year for all!

Have a great start to the 2019/20 year everyone!
